Position Summary and Job Duties
Hours of Work: 16 hours per er week all shifts 2:45p - 11:15p, rotating Week 1: Mon and Sat. Week 2: Sun and Fri The Rock County Crisis Intervention unit provides person-centered emergent behavioral health care services to Rock County residents across the life span. The Crisis Triage Technicians serve in a multifaceted capacity to support the crisis intervention unit by answering the crisis phone line and triaging client needs. This position also assists in facilitating admissions to stabilization or inpatient units, provides transport as clinically indicated, completes welfare checks or support calls, completes medication deliveries or medication phone prompts, and assures maintenance of the clinical record. Supports and promotes the Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles of the Human Services Department. Performs in a manner consistent with the HSD Professional Standards and "Commitment to My Co-Workers."
Human Service Paraprofessionals working in the Crisis Unit between the hours of 7:00 pm -7:00 am, Monday through Thursday or between 7:00 pm Friday and 7:00 am Monday will be paid a night/weekend differential of $2.65 per hour for each night or weekend hour worked.

Graduation from High School or GED equivalent
Minimum of 60 college /college transferable credits; Emphasis human services or related field.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Must possess and maintain a current unrestricted (not due to corrective lenses) driver's license and auto insurance pursuant to the Rock County Administrative Policy and Procedure 5.02 and 5.27.

Employees are paid every two weeks on Friday (26 checks in a year). Paychecks are directly deposited in the employee's bank account. There is a two-week delay between the pay period worked and the payday. New employees generally wait four weeks before they receive their first check, which is a live paper check.
