Client is considering only LOCAL CANDIDATES for this position./ph3Job Description/h3pDay-to-day activities include but are not limited to the following:/pullileading and participating in multiple, competing, cross-functional technical projects and service requests/lilicreation and management of project plans including requirements, business case, schedule, budget, status reports and other documentation as required/lilicreation and upkeep of the teams configuration and change management documentation/lilirefining business processes/efficiency improvements as related to assigned projects/liliproject-related incident handling and problem resolution/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pExperience managing technical resources and maintaining project schedules and budgets. Strong technical background in IT infrastructure with an emphasis on technology development/deployment. Skilled in the creation of project related documents, including but not limited to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, business cases, research findings and detailed statements of work. Configure, optimize and maintain Windows 2003 Servers in an Active Directory, multi-domain environment. Excellent requirements elicitation skills. Ability to work independently on tasks of moderate-high complexity. Ability to create and maintain system topology maps and operational documentation. Excellent business communication skills, both written, verbal and ability to present information to a group. Excellent technical writing skills. Working knowledge of and ability to apply industry-standard project management best practices. Working knowledge of and ability to apply IT Service Management best practices. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience managing mid-large enterprise infrastructure projects/programs in an environment similar to the following: Geographically dispersed organization with unique, diverse business units and 5,000+ employees. Data center with 300+ Windows Servers in an Active Directory, multi-forest, multi-domain environment running: Citrix; MS SQL, Exchange, ISA, HP Server Hardware, Server virtualization (VMWare), mid-range SAN/Storage platforms, secure remote access (VPN, dialup). In addition, applicants will have a proven track record of projects consistently completed on time and within budget.
