Description: Hiring process includes profile review and an interview with the unit manager. Travelers are required to submit a driver's license. Clinicians must be available in-state for the week of orientation, even if the first-day modules are remote. An agency must provide a traveler radiation badge. The department consists of three scanners: two GE and one Siemens. No floating to other areas is required. The average number of scans performed per day is 20-30. The facility utilizes EPIC for their electronic medical records and Picture Archive and Communication System. The department has a coordinator and manager overseeing operations. No registered radiology assistants are utilized. Radiologists are not on-site. Starting IVs is a part of the job duties. Shifts are 12 hours, with possible weekend and holiday requirements. Call is required, with a commitment of 2 shifts per month. The dress code requires navy blue tops and black pants. Department specific orientation will be provided. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment.
