Emergency Room Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides critical nursing care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses and document clinical findings accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and support staff to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience working in an emergency room or acute care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
