This role plays a critical part in supporting a professional, and orderly facility for employees and visitors. This role may also support the production team as needed.Office CleaningClean and sanitize two (2) men's restrooms and two (2) women's restrooms, including restocking suppliesDeep clean and sanitize the breakroom and office kitchenette(s), including countertops, floors, sinks, cupboards, visible and non-visible areas alikeClean appliances including refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, air fryerMaintain a clean sink/dish areaVacuum offices and common areas & wipe down desksDry-mop hard floor surfacesDust/ wipe down all areas that become uncleanEmpty all trash & replace linersOrganize common areas and storage/supply closets as neededGrounds MaintenanceOperate a riding lawnmower to maintain small patio/grass areas approximately once every two weeksPick up litter/debris from building exterior and parking areasOperate a leaf blower to clear entrances, and patio areasReport any landscaping or grounds hazards (uneven pavement, drainage issues, etc.) to Plant ManagerWarehouse SupportKeep aisles, walkways, and emergency paths clear of obstructionsAssist with general cleanup projects in the warehouse as assignedSupport shop supervisors with periodic deep-cleaning or organization initiativesGeneralReport maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, burnt-out lighting, equipment malfunctions) to Plant ManagerMaintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is neededPerform other duties as assigned, including supporting the production team as needed.What Makes You SuccessfulYou may be a great fit if you:Enjoy hands-on, active work.Take pride in accuracy and attention to detail.Work well independently and as part of a team.Stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Communicate clearly and professionally.Are committed to workplace safety and quality.What You'll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred; not requiredPrior custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not requiredAbility to safely operate a lawnmower and leaf blower ( training provided if needed )Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be at least 18 years of age.Skills: time management, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemical safetyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayFrequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twistFrequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 poundsAbility to operate a lawnmower and leaf blower, including associated vibration and repetitive motionAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and hearing protection, in areas where required.Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.About Flexible MetalFlexible Metal, a Hyspan Company, manufactures precision metal bellows and expansion joints used in demanding industrial applications across North America.
