About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The COO will be responsible for translating the organization's strategic vision into operational excellence, with a focus on high-quality, person-centered services that are safe, compliant, and financially sustainable. This role involves providing leadership and accountability for the organization's programs, facilities, fleet, information technology, and operational infrastructure. The successful candidate will be expected to lead and develop operational leaders, drive organizational performance through data-informed decision-making, and ensure continuous quality improvement. The COO will also be involved in strategic planning, growth, and will represent operations in various stakeholder and community relations. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and 10-15 years of leadership experience in human services, healthcare, behavioral health, or nonprofit operations. Essential qualifications include a strong background in Medicaid-funded services, licensing, and regulatory compliance, as well as experience in overseeing multi-site operations and multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a proven track record in managing complex organizational operations and a deep understanding of IT functions, facilities, and fleet management. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering a positive, inclusive, and mission-driven organizational culture, and will have a strategic mindset with the ability to support the expansion of services and innovation.
