Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Chandler, AZ | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Care for general and orthopedic trauma stepdown patients including those with chest tubes, drains, wound vacs, and peritoneal dialysis needs Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips and monitor patients on GE telemetry equipment with central monitoring station support Administer and titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone and Cardizem (titration down only) Float to MedSurg Telemetry units as needed Fulfill weekend shift requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period, plus one major and one minor holiday Required Qualifications Active RN license in good standing BLS certification required ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN experience (within the past 6 months) Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (maximum of 2 attempts, within 48 hours of offer) Must pass a pass/fail Simulation Lab on day one of orientation (study guides provided) Preferred Experience / Skills Experience caring for COVID-positive or infectious disease patient populations Familiarity with CPAP and ventilator-adjacent patient management Experience with wound vacs, chest tubes, and surgical drains Comfort using Spectralink phone systems and integrated call light technology Why Join Us Work in a well-supported unit environment with 24/7 Respiratory Therapy, 24/7 Pharmacy coverage, and access to a House SWAT Nurse for complex IV needs Structured onboarding includes 2 floor-specific orientation shifts to ensure a smooth transition onto the unit Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776649.
