Finance Manager

Job Description Volt is immediately hiring a Finance Manager in Jacksonville, FL. As a Finance Manager, you will: Be responsible for the company’s finance and accounting processes encompassing A/P, A/R, G/L, and financial analysis Prepare in-depth monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting reviews of consolidated financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes Oversee and ensure the maintenance and updating of the financial accounting and reporting systems to ensure compliance with US GAAP Develop and maintain internal accounting controls to ensure assets are secure and financial reporting is accurate Conduct regular internal control audits and administer annual reviews; assist Department Managers in effectively managing department budgets Supervise and motivate assigned staff: Plan and establish goals & objectives Evaluate training and development plans Conduct performance evaluations Provide on-going feedback Manage all aspects of the month end close process including ensuring all intercompany transactions are posted and balanced with other entities Prepare and review month end reconciliations Manage Finance initiatives: Implementation of internal controls Capital expenditures process Contracts with suppliers/customers Reporting / Forecasting / Budgeting: Provide daily reporting on shipments and orders Submit monthly forecasts for shipments / revenue, cash collections, P&L and working capital Prepare analyses to management on a monthly basis (MBR) on key financial performance measurements, return on sales, cash to EBITDA ratios & operating cash Lead the annual budgeting process This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred 7 - 10 years experience within manufacturing 5 plus years of management experience Comfortable working with senior level and C‑Suite personnel Proven ability to prioritize activities and manage workload in a complex fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Advanced knowledge of Excel including experience with enterprise reporting systems Strong analytical background; results driven Strong verbal, written and presentation skills Well‑developed critical thinking and strong problem solving skills Strong business acumen, communication skills, negotiation and influencing skills, team orientation and strong systems skills and knowledge Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
