Director, Analytics

Responsibilities You will hire, coach, and retain a team of analysts, setting the bar for analytical rigor, insight quality, and partnership with studio leaders. You will translate ambiguous product and business questions into clear recommendations, guiding partners through tradeoffs and decision‑ready narratives. You will set the analytics vision for the studio, focusing us on high‑value questions across player experience, retention, engagement, monetization, and game health. You will improve speed‑to‑insights by promoting modern analytics tools, responsible AI/LLM use, and refined measurement strategies for features and live ops. You will advocate for integration of personalized data‑driven experiences into the game. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, including live service games or digital products 4+ years of experience leading analysts or data teams and influencing senior partners through data‑driven insights Analytical and technical skills, including SQL, Python or R, experimentation frameworks, and statistical analysis Experience applying GenAI, copilots, or agentic workflows to improve analytics productivity, automate workflows, and accelerate insight generation Pay Transparency - North America The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Compensation and Benefits Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g., education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). PAY RANGES British Columbia (e.g., Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$160,700 - $224,700 CAD California (e.g., Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$193,100 - $296,500 USD Ontario *$160,700 - $216,800 CAD Washington (e.g., Seattle vs. Spokane) *$182,600 - $247,100 USD Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full‑time employees.
