X-Ray Technologist- Scottsbluff, NE

Position Details:

Location: Scottsbluff, NE 69361

Project Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Salary Range: $55/hr - $60/hr

Shift: Varied Shift 4x10

Job Summary:

The X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The technologist ensures patient safety, maintains imaging equipment, and adheres to radiation protection standards while providing compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare, position, and instruct patients for imaging procedures
• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Evaluate images for accuracy and quality before submission for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control guidelines
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Medical radiographer license in Nebraska required
• ARRT certificate in radiography required
• ARRT certificate in CT preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous experience in diagnostic imaging required
