PIT Operator - Afternoon Shift

Position Overview Shift: Afternoon Shift, Monday – Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Pay: $24.00 per hour (at time of posting for New Jersey). What You’ll Do Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move, lift, stack, or transfer product, equipment, and materials. Use a handheld scanner with high accuracy. Load and unload trailers as needed. Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment. Display a commitment to process excellence. Understand and follow the Supply Chain quality policy. Perform inbound receiving processes. Use Excel for record‑keeping. Provide customer service and perform data entry. What You Need to Succeed Minimum Requirements: Training and certification in safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of warehouse experience. Positive attitude and teamwork ability. Excellent communication skills. Physical Demands Lift 50 lbs. frequently and over 75 lbs. occasionally. Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights. Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull. Stand, sit or walk for long periods. Handle or manage tools or equipment. Operate in hot or cold warehouse environments.
