Certs required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
36 months of emergency medicine experience [required]
1st time travelers accepted, 36 months experience in ED at a minimum to consider
experience caring for pediatrics & adults [required]
experience with behavioral health patients [highly preferred]
experience with drips including sedations, vasoactive [required]
experience reading, measuring, interpreting tele strips [required]
ACTIVE TNCC / trauma nursing core competency course – [required] [document]
EPIC emr experience [highly preferred]
Level I trauma experience [preferred]
Level II trauma experience [required]
**All travelers will need to float to all floors at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital and Methodist West. Local travelers will have a 10 percent reduction to rate. Clinicians will need to have one year of previous successful travel assignment.
