Medical Billing & Payments Specialist

Job Description Primary Responsibilities: Accurately enter payment and adjustment data into the patient account from electronic remittance (ERA) and paper EOB. Processes refunds and related items as needed. Performs periodic and month-end balancing and reporting activities. Follow regulations, guideline and policies and procedures for billing multiple insurance lines. Review explanation of benefits for correct payment and denials Requirements: Must have at least one year of medical billing experience Prior Customer Service experience Microsoft Excel, basic skills required.
