Laser Operator

Laser OperatorWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely according to customer specifications and production schedules.Job Duties• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and cut sheets• Verify part dimensions and quality using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections• Operate and process parts according to print and traveler requirements.• Monitor machine cutting performance and utilization.Skills and Qualifications• At least 1 year of Laser Operating experience.• Ability to read blueprints and measuring instruments• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs• Forklift or overhead crane experience a plus• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.Benefits• 401k plan available - Enrollment is available after 1 year of service.
