UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is seeking graduate nurses and experience RNs who are looking for more than just a career in health care.

The Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate Nurse (GN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, and the alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and through advocacy in the care of individuals and families. The RN or GN is responsible and accountable for compliance to all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights. The RN or GN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

COMPENSATION + BENEFITS:

The base pay range for full time position is $80,640.00 to $114,400.00

This position is also eligible for various competitive benefits, PTO accrual, and retirement plans with employer match.

Looking to start your nursing career or continuing to grow and fulfill your passion as a nurse? Experienced RNs eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Graduate nurses have the ability to participate in comprehensive nurse residency program.

About New York's Southern Tier

As an employee of United Health Services, you'll call the Southern Tier, or more specifically, the Greater Binghamton area, home. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Adult Med-Surg, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Primary Work Shift: Multiple shifts available

Compensation Range: $40.52 - $57.48 per hour, depending on experience

You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing

Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

Current NYS RN License or Valid NYS Limited Permit to practice as a GN

Preferred:

Professional certification in a related nursing specialty

Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
