You’ll help set up exercises and equipment, guide patients through therapist‑assigned activities (under direct supervision), and keep treatment areas clean and safe. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in a future PT or OT career — with eligibility for up to $30,000 in tuition reimbursement for PT/OT school.Primary Functions & Responsibilities:Assists the therapists in activities related to the treatment of individual patientsPerforms and responds to therapists in accordance with the rules and regulations of the American Physical/Occupational Therapy AssociationsAssists patients in performing the appropriate exercises assigned by and under direct supervision of the therapistAssists other clinical staff in the performance of their duties as permitted and under the direct supervision of the therapistResponsible for preparing, cleaning, and maintaining exercise equipment.Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of shared surfaces and patient care areas.Follows policies and procedures pertaining to the care of the equipment and supplies and reports any irregularities to the therapist or clinical managerAssists in clerical duties to include answering phones, filing, and stocking of necessary itemsPerforms laundry duties and restocking of linen suppliesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong communicationDemonstrated customer service abilitiesDemonstrated patient care focusPosition Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 18 years oldCompensation Range for this position:$16.37 - $24.55Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.This organization participates in e-Verify.
