Overview
CT Technologist – CT imaging, travel assignment in Valdez, Alaska, starting 09/28/2026 for a weeks-long engagement. Weekly pay: $2,449–$2,507 per week. Shift: 4x10 Days. The role is hospital-based, with responsibilities spanning CT and general radiography across diverse patient types, and potential involvement in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging settings.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT exams and CT angiography, as well as basic radiography across patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
- Operate PACS systems to review and document imaging studies
- Prepare and administer contrast agents as needed; support contrast procedures
- Assist with procedures such as biopsies or aspirations when appropriate
- Provide safe patient care during imaging workflows, including emergency and trauma imaging when required
- May float to nearby facilities and cover x-ray examinations as needed
- Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as scheduled

Requirements
- Active ARRT certification: CT (and ARRT R) required
- ARRT CT credential required; BLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology experience; first-time/new graduates not accepted
- Ability to perform CT/CTA and general radiography; proficiency with PACS
- Compact license in hand at submission
- Ability to work in outpatient, emergency, and inpatient imaging settings
- Must provide 2 references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
- Background considerations: facility does not accept Nursys or other background hits per posting
- Vaccination: COVID-19 not required; flu status not specified
- Availability to work 72-hour/24-hour schedule rules for housing and vehicle logistics
- Local candidate restrictions apply: permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
