What You'll Do
  • Manage a caseload independently across inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation for patients with diagnoses such as spinal cord injuries, strokes, orthopedic surgeries, traumatic brain injuries, and more
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Document patient progress using Epic EMR and other department-specific systems
  • Support patient education and discharge planning
  • Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements
What You Need
  • Current Louisiana PT license
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in specialty settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Support within the department: supervisor, assistant director, peer therapists
  • Skills with EMR systems: Epic, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky, AOD
About the Assignment

This role is based at a leading healthcare facility in Shreveport, LA, providing diverse inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing services. You'll join a dedicated team supporting medically complex and rehabilitative patients, with no overnight calls or weekend coverage required, offering a predictable schedule in a collaborative environment.
