We are working with a client in High Point searching for a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist. This will be a contract position paying $35-40/hr. This role will be fully onsite M-F 8-5. Prior procurement, sourcing, and experience working with supplier required for this role. Please do not apply for this role if you do not live in the Greensboro, NC area.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, performance, availability, cost, and lead time
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements with existing supplier
• Send RFQ's to multiple suppliers when supporting new customers and product lines
• Create new supplier agreements showing clear contract terms
• Manage and track supplier performance to ensure internal and customer needs are being met
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost reductions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration/Management, or similar required.
• Must have experience in procurement, sourcing and maintaining supplier relationships to be eligible for this role
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to analyze data
• Must be adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects
• Experience using ERP and advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables/Vlookups)
