We are excited to announce that we are expanding our team by adding another Material Planner to support our supply chain and production operations at our Lysander facility.

The pay rate for this position is $22 / hour. This is a 1st Shift position, hours of which are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Primary Accountabilities:
• Promote a Safety-First Culture while adhering to quality principles that support the position.
• Use sales forecasts and MRP to determine appropriate raw material orders.
• Generate and issue purchase orders to maintain appropriate levels of raw materials.
• Track material deliveries and work with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, expediting as needed to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate physical inventories and daily cycle counts.
• Perform material transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Review actual and forecast customer demand to ensure the schedule aligns with customer delivery requirements on raw materials.
• Monitor sales orders and schedule attainment daily to adjust the schedule as needed.
• Communicate schedule and schedule changes effectively.
• Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Production, Materials, and Maintenance to resolve issues impacting the production schedule.
• Generate and distribute inventory reports.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to improve planning and scheduling process efficiency.
• Analyze areas for cost savings and inventory reduction; implement best practices.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a related area within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Scheduling experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP system is required.
