Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role based in Jersey City, NJ. The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include managing follow-up visits, performing procedures within scope, educating patients and families on treatment options and preventive care, and coordinating with physicians and other care team members to ensure continuity of care. The role also involves maintaining accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory and practice guidelines, and contributing to care protocols and quality improvement initiatives. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with practice leadership to support service line growth and an excellent patient experience. Qualifications Clinical care skills, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up management. Proficiency in performing procedures within Nurse Practitioner scope of practice and managing acute and chronic conditions. Strong communication and patient education skills to explain diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care clearly and empathetically. Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff in a multidisciplinary care environment. Skilled in electronic health record (EHR) documentation, clinical charting, and maintaining regulatory and compliance standards. Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey, national certification (e.g., AANP or ANCC), and graduation from an accredited NP program. Prior experience in outpatient or specialty practice settings is preferred; experience in ENT, ophthalmology, or related fields is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage a steady patient volume while maintaining quality of care.
