Registered Nurse - Day Medicine

Overview Nemours seeks a Day Medicine Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a busy outpatient setting. The Day Medicine Unit contains 10 physical bays accommodating 10 patients at a time, and the Sedation and PET/MR suites support anesthesia induction, sedation, and recovery. Responsibilities Provide single or ongoing outpatient IV infusions for various medical conditions. Perform pre‑sedation and anesthesia preparation, intra‑procedural care, and post‑procedural recovery for medical imaging diagnostic studies, interventional procedures, and minor procedures outside of operating, emergency, and intensive care environments. Deliver patient care across a range of procedures with lengths from minutes to 8+ hours. Support rotating after‑hours, weekend, and holiday sedation call service as part of a two‑person Day Medicine team. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school, BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience. Experience in pediatric nursing preferred. American Heart Association PALS and BLS certifications required. Current registered RN in Delaware.
