This role is ideal for attorneys who enjoy advocacy and courtroom appearances but prefer to focus on representation rather than case management, filings, or ongoing client ownership.Assignments are scheduled in advance during standard court business hours, giving you the flexibility to plan your schedule while gaining meaningful courtroom experience and helping clients through important stages of their immigration proceedings.We'll provide the preparation, guidance, malpractice coverage, and operational support you need so you can focus on delivering confident, professional representation.Your Key ContributionsServe as co-counsel on client matters, representing clients at Master Calendar Hearings.Appear in person for scheduled immigration court hearings.Advocate professionally on behalf of clients while ensuring accurate communication of case developments.Follow attorney preparation materials and firm instructions.Report hearing outcomes using established firm templates.Why This GIG WorksFlexible, appointment-based assignments.No case management, filings, or ongoing client ownership.Predictable courtroom appearances during standard court business hours.Transportation and training expenses covered.Malpractice insurance provided for every assignment.Administrative and operational support from an experienced immigration team.What Makes You a Great FitActive U.S. bar license (any jurisdiction).1–3 years of experience practicing law.Immigration law required.Courtroom experience preferred.Availability during standard court business hours.Our FirmAt Lisinski Law Firm, the commitment we show to our clients is matched by how we support and invest in our people.
