Facilities Technician 2

Our client, a leading organization in the retail and facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 2, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician 2

Location: South Bend, Indiana

Pay Range: $28-31/hour

Shift: Days (40 hours)

What's the Job?

• Maintain and repair lighting systems, including bulbs and ballasts
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs on various equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, and control network components
• Assist with maintenance and repair of building systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, and food equipment
• Support conveyor and sortation systems, including troubleshooting scanners, printers, scales, and network equipment

What's Needed?

• Ability to identify and maintain food service and control network equipment
• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V 3-phase systems
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; valid state driver’s license
