Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. This role involves ensuring the smooth and effective preparation and assistance during surgical procedures.

Schedule

The position is day shift, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, and may require on-call duties, including holidays and weekends. Please note that there is no block scheduling available.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Prepare and maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Coordinate with various healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of sterile fields throughout procedures.
• Support patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Strong proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures, with documented ratings on the skills checklist.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
