Gastroenterology Opportunity

Southern Ohio Medical Center (SOMC) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our well-established, high-performing GI team in Portsmouth, Ohio. This is a turnkey opportunity with immediate patient volume, a collaborative team, and incredible earning potential.

Position Highlights:

• Base Salary: $741,960 with bonus potential
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000 (15% of base)
• Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000
• Residency/Fellowship Stipend: Up to $25,000
• Relocation Allowance: $10,000
• Bonus Incentives: Up to 10% of salary annually
• CME: $5,000 + 5 CME Days

Your Practice at SOMC:

• 100% bread-and-butter GI – 8–15 procedures/day in our on-site Endoscopy Suite
• See 30 patients/day in clinic
• Clinic & Endoscopy Suite are 2 minutes apart
• Light call, rarely required to come in – take call from home
• Work with Olympus 190 scopes, esophageal manometry, Bravo pH, and Rapid Pillcam
• Use Provation for documentation, billing, and scope integration

Work-Life Balance:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
