Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. The start date is as soon as possible. No holiday requests will be considered. The schedule requires every other weekend. The average patient ratio is 1:5. First-time travelers are accepted. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs. This unit treats adults and geriatric patients. Common patient diagnoses include post-operative vascular and podiatric patients, as well as overflow patients from ortho, ENT, and general surgery. Patients may require management of trachs, chest tubes, central lines, and wound vacs. Team support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and pharmacy. The daily census averages 24 patients. The unit has a total of 24 beds. Pre-approved time off may be discussed. A reference is required for submission. Candidate must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in the specialty. Local candidates will not be accepted. Candidates must apply for their license prior to submission.
