Maintenance Technician – Isla Bella Beach Resort

Job Summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort, a luxury oceanfront resort in the Florida Keys, is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team.

This role is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the resort, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting issues, working with their hands, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the resort
• Troubleshoot and repair:
  
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Electrical components
  • HVAC systems
  • Kitchen and laundry equipment
• Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and basic building repairs
• Replace lightbulbs, filters, switches, belts, and other components as needed
• Respond to guest and team member maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify repair needs and safety concerns
• Maintain pools and related equipment as needed
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow all safety, fire, and resort procedures

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred
• Hotel or resort maintenance experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
