Job Full Description We are currently searching for a dedicated and hard-working Forklift Operator for a position inside the PORT area.
Duties:
- Operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.
- Moving items prepared for shipment to designated shipping area(s).
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Ensuring loads are secured.
Requirements:
- Must have or be willing to obtain TWIC card upon employment. Position duties performed on Port of Manatee.
- The Ideal candidate must be able to pass a level 1 background screen and a 5-Drug Screen.
- Position duties require full range of motion - must be able to lift, stand, sit, pull, reach, bend, stoop, and extend for extended periods of time.
