About the Role

This role combines customer support, technical troubleshooting, and operational coordination across the full customer lifecycle:

• Pre-install: expectation setting and technical guidance
• Installation: real-time support and issue resolution
• Post-install: performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and education
• Orphaned systems: supporting customers without a prior installer relationship

You will serve as the primary customer-facing technical resource, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently, communication is clear, and solutions align with Greenlink standards.

This is not a traditional customer service role. Success requires technical aptitude, ownership, and the ability to navigate challenges across multiple teams and project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer questions and technical issues
• Support pre-install planning and customer expectation setting
• Assist during installations by resolving technical and field-related challenges
• Troubleshoot solar, storage, and related energy systems
• Support orphaned customers and provide clear paths to resolution
• Coordinate service visits, warranty claims, and follow-up actions
• Monitor system performance using platforms such as Enphase and SolarEdge
• Communicate technical information in a clear, customer-friendly manner
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements

Requirements

• Experience with solar, electrical, or energy systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and project stages
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Required

• Demonstrated daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to improve productivity, communication, and problem-solving
• Candidates who do not actively use AI in their workflow will not be considered

Preferred

• Experience with Enphase, SolarEdge, or similar monitoring platforms
• Field service or technical support experience
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards
• Exposure to HVAC, building systems, or energy efficiency concepts
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
