Work Environment

The Floater Physical Therapist position is primarily onsite within our rehabilitation facilities located in the Green Valley area. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, serving a patient volume of approximately two patients per hour. Our supportive atmosphere fosters collaboration among staff and emphasizes teamwork to deliver integrated care. Key Responsibilities

• Travel between 1-2 clinic sites within the Green Valley area to deliver patient care as needed, adapting to varied settings and patient needs.
• Conduct thorough evaluations for new patients and devise individualized treatment plans that address their specific conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and various modalities.
• Instruct patients on best practices for injury prevention, ergonomics, and self-management, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate effectively with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment experience for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those requiring rehabilitation for musculoskeletal disorders. You will play an essential role in guiding these patients through their recovery journey by providing personalized attention and targeted therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Nevada.
• Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to developing and implementing patient-specific treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Compensation and Benefits
