This position supports the Banquets team by ensuring bars are fully stocked, organized, and ready for seamless service.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume resort setting, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in being part of the behind-the-scenes effort that brings events to life to create memorable guest experiences!ResponsibilitiesSet up all banquet bars and equipment prior to indoor and outdoor eventsRequest, pick up, verify, and properly store all bar requisitions (liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, and food items)Stock bar areas with beverages, glassware, iced cambros, condiments, etcActively support team members by moving with urgency to restock, reset, and respond to operational needs throughout events to maintain service flowDevelop and maintain knowledge of all bar products and Assist bartenders with side work before, during, and after eventsSupport banquet food servers as neededComplete all opening and closing duties for bar operationsOperate and maintain bar tools and equipment offeringsContribute to a best-in-class guest experience through efficient support and teamworkAssumes other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum one (1) year of experience in a barback or similar hospitality role preferredBasic knowledge of liquor, bar operations, and service standardsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, lifting (40+ lbs), carrying, pushing, and pullingAbility to transport carts, glass racks, and bar suppliesExposure to heat, humidity, noise, and wet conditionsFrequent movement between event spaces and buildingsStrong communication skills with ability to interact effectively with guests and team members by maintaining a positive, professional, and patient demeanorAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
