Location: Paducah, KY
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Highly flexible, self-managed hours with weekday and weekend shifts available.
Setting: Onsite Clinic-Based Medical Disability Evaluations

Job Overview:
We are seeking Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians to perform medical disability compensation examinations and prepare independent medical opinions. This is an evaluation-only role focused on objective clinical assessment, detailed documentation, and evidence-based medical opinions. There are no on-call responsibilities, billing duties, insurance administration, or ongoing patient treatment responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability compensation examinations

• Review medical records and relevant clinical documentation

• Perform detailed clinical assessments and physical examinations

• Document findings accurately using established templates and guidelines

• Prepare clear, objective, evidence-based independent medical opinions

• Provide appropriate causation analyses supported by clinical evidence

• Ensure evaluations and reports comply with applicable regulatory standards

• Complete documentation and reports accurately and within required timelines

• Maintain professional independence and objectivity throughout the evaluation process

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Active, unrestricted medical license

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine clinical background

• PGY-3/PGY-4 Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residents may be considered with USMLE Step 3 passed

• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to formulate clear and objective medical opinions

• Comfortable working independently in an evaluation-focused environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Based on experience

• Independent Contractor (1099)

• 2-5 days per week based on availability

• Weekday and weekend shifts available
