2nd shift: 2pm-12am Monday-Friday (will have some Saturdays)

Job Description

This role supports the production of pre-cast concrete structures used for sanitation systems and storm drains. You will operate a heavily automated Schlusselbauer dry cast machine that forms concrete castings, using multiple controls and monitoring equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavily automated Schlusselbauer dry cast machine to produce pre-cast concrete structures for sanitation and storm drain applications.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust machine controls to maintain proper production parameters and ensure consistent quality of concrete castings.
• Perform general labor tasks related to concrete production, including blending, mixing, and handling materials as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings to understand specifications and dimensions for each product.
• Use measuring tools, including a tape measure, to verify dimensions and ensure products meet required tolerances.
• Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and finished products within the facility and storage areas.
• Inspect equipment and work area regularly, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment at all times while working in a busy industrial environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area despite working in a dusty and dirty production setting.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals, support continuous improvement, and ensure efficient workflow.
• Work occasional Saturdays and adapt to changing production needs, including overtime when required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stacy, MN.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
