Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 24 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program and no current placement allowed at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program.

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years with strong cardiac background. Interpret telemetry strips, perform cardiac drips; 2 years working as a traveler. Telemetry, Cardiology. Post Cath Care – PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation etc. TR Band, Femoral approach.

Required Credentials: Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted. MGB Medication Exam: 80% passing score required. MGB Dysrhythmia Exam: 80% passing score required.

Unit Details: Medical cardiology unit with post cath care including PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, TR band, and femoral approach. RN to patient ratio: Days 1:5. Nights 1:6.

Shift & Scheduling: Days/evenings/nights rotate. Every other weekend.

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
