Role: QA Automation Engineer eCommerce Payments

Location: Remote PST Time Zone

Rate: $40hr on C2C

Requirement : UI and API automation; Python/Playwright; OOP/POM; BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin); CI/CD integration; 5+ yrs. Experience with Ecommerce - Payment testing.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain functional test cases for Adyen payment projects, including API testing, Boomi/Web Services integrations, MAO, and Revenue Recognition (RevRec) changes.
• Perform end-to-end testing for Adyen payment integrations across the Skechers eCommerce platform for all supported countries and newly introduced payment methods.
• Execute comprehensive regression testing across global eCommerce sites to ensure payment stability and functionality.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating business requirements and resolving testing issues.
• Update and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites for Adyen payment workflows across Digital and IT platforms.
• Develop and maintain UI and API automated test scripts to improve regression coverage and release quality.
• Validate payment gateway integrations, payment processors, and complete order lifecycle workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software releases.
• Participate in CI/CD processes by integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
• Perform backend validation using SQL to verify transaction data and order processing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation with a focus on eCommerce applications.
• Strong experience in UI and API automation using Python and Playwright.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Page Object Model (POM) design patterns.
• Experience with BDD frameworks using Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience in eCommerce payment testing, including payment gateways and payment processors.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or Salesforce eCommerce platforms.
• Experience validating payment gateway integrations and payment processor workflows.
• Experience with MAO (Manhattan Active Omni) (Distributed Order Management) or OMS (Order Management Systems).
• Demonstrated experience automating validation across the complete order lifecycle, including order placement, payment authorization, fulfillment, shipment, cancellation, returns, and refunds.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adyen payment platform implementations.
• Knowledge of Boomi integrations and web services.
• Experience with Revenue Recognition (RevRec) validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Advanced database management or data-warehouse testing experience.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Developer).
