Role: QA Engineer Manual & Automation (SFMC / eCommerce)

Location: Remote PST Time Zone

Rate: $40hr on C2C

Requirement : SFMC experience with ecommerce background & UI and API automation; Python/Playwright; OOP/POM; BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin); CI/CD integration; 5+ yrs

No. of Resources & Working Hours : 1 in PST Hours and 1 in Non-PST Hours (2-3 Hours of overlap with PST hours 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing for eCommerce applications with a focus on quality, functionality, and user experience.
• Develop, maintain, and execute UI and API automation scripts using Python and Playwright.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Validate Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) integrations and eCommerce workflows.
• Design automation solutions using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Page Object Model (POM).
• Develop and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to identify defects and improve application quality.
• Perform API validation and backend testing to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
• Support Agile testing activities, including sprint testing, defect management, and release validation.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering with both manual and automation testing.
• Strong experience with eCommerce applications and digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Experience with Playwright for UI automation.
• Experience with API automation and validation.
• Knowledge of OOP concepts and Page Object Model (POM) framework design.
• Experience with BDD frameworks using Cucumber/Gherkin.

• Experience testing Salesforce ecosystem applications.
• Experience with eCommerce customer journeys, marketing integrations, and digital experiences.
• Familiarity with SQL and backend data validation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
