Role: Senior QA Engineer Manual & Automation (Retail / Digital)

Location: Remote PST Time Zone

Rate: $40hr on C2C

Requirement : Complex functional, exploratory, and omnichannel scenario testing; retail domain knowledge (e-commerce, POS, order management) or digital domain (SFCC, SFMC, CRM); 5+ yrs;

No. of Resources & Working Hours : 1 in Non-PST Hours (2-3 Hours of overlap with PST hours 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST)

Responsibilities

• Perform complex functional, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end testing across enterprise retail and digital platforms.

• Design and execute test scenarios covering omnichannel customer journeys across eCommerce, POS, order management, and digital applications.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies based on business requirements and user workflows.
• Execute manual and automated testing to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
• Validate integrations across retail systems, customer platforms, and digital channels.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business teams to identify defects and improve product quality.
• Support release validation, UAT, and production readiness activities.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and improve overall test coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with strong manual and automation testing experience.
• Strong experience in functional, exploratory, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience testing retail domain applications and complex business workflows.
• Hands-on experience with eCommerce, POS, order management, or digital platforms.
• Experience testing omnichannel customer experiences and end-to-end journeys.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), or CRM platforms.
• Experience testing retail POS and order management systems.
• Familiarity with eCommerce customer journeys, checkout, payments, and fulfillment workflows.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and API validation.

• Experience supporting large-scale retail or digital transformation initiatives.
