This role is responsible for delivering accurate, data-driven insights that inform hiring plans, organizational structure, and financial forecasting. The position plays a critical role in aligning people strategies with business and financial objectives, while also supporting workforce forecasting and operational analytics.Essential Functions, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesWorkforce Planning & Headcount ManagementDevelop, maintain, and monitor headcount plans in alignment with approved budgetsTrack actuals vs. plan and produce variance analysis with clear driversSupport annual budgeting, monthly forecasts, and scenario modelingMaintain position control and ensure alignment between approved roles, requisitions, and financial plansCompensation Analysis & GovernanceConduct market benchmarking and support pay structure designAnalyze internal equity and provide data-driven compensation recommendationsSupport compensation cycles (merit, bonus, incentives) with modeling and validationEnsure compensation actions align with budget constraints and governance standardsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations (pay transparency, FLSA classification, pay equity)Workforce Analytics & ForecastingBuild workforce forecasts tied to hiring plans, attrition, and business demandMonitor workforce performance and provide real-time operational insightsDeliver trend analysis to support strategic planning and daily decision-makingProvide forecast inputs and recommendations to HR and FinanceSupport audits related to compensation, headcount and HR dataImplement controls to ensure data accuracy across HR and Finance systemsHR Data, Reporting & InsightsDevelop and maintain dashboards for headcount, compensation, and workforce metricsAnalyze key metrics (turnover, hiring velocity, span of control, cost per head)Translate data into actionable insights for HR leadership and business stakeholdersEnsure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR and financial dataIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting, forecasting and compensation processesCross-Functional Partnership (HR–Finance Alignment)Act as primary liaison between HR and Finance for workforce and budget planningAlign recruiting activity with approved headcount and financial targetsSupport organizational design, restructuring, and cost modeling initiativesProvide data support for business cases and leadership decision-makingEducational and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field5+ years of experience in HR analytics, compensation, financial analysis, workforce planning, or a related disciplineExperience partnering with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, or headcount planningDemonstrated experience with compensation analysis, including benchmarking and pay structure supportKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data setsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, including modeling, forecasting, and data manipulationAbility to translate data into clear, actionable insights for business leadersStrong understanding of workforce planning, headcount management, and budgeting conceptsKnowledge of compensation principles, including market benchmarking and internal equityHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrityAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesEffective communication skills, including the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholdersStrong collaboration skills with the ability to partner across HR, Finance, and business teamsProficiency with HRIS systems and reporting toolsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriatelyStrong organizational skills with the ability to structure and prioritize work efficientlySkill RequirementsTyping/computer keyboardUtilize computer software (specified above)Retrieve and compile informationMaintain records/logsVerify data and informationOrganize and prioritize information/tasksOperate office equipmentAdvanced mathematical concepts (fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, graphs)Verbal communicationWritten communicationPublic speaking/group presentationsResearch, analyze and interpret informationInvestigate, evaluate, recommend actionLeadership and supervisory, managing peopleBasic mathematical concepts (e.g. add, subtract)Abstract mathematical concepts (interpolation, inference, frequency, reliability, formulas, equations, statistics)Physical RequirementsSitting for extended periodsExtended periods viewing computer screenReadingSpeakingHear/ListenMaintain regular, punctual attendanceRepetitive MotionsWritingHazardsNormal office environmentAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.KLS Martin is a drug-free employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
