Physician - Critical Care Anesthesiologists

Responsibilities Administer anesthetics and analgesics for pain management prior to or after surgery for critical care patients. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and patients’ family concerning treatment and care of patients. Qualifications Education required: M.D. or D.O. License to practice medicine in Louisiana. Completion of an anesthesiology residency. Completion of a critical care anesthesiology fellowship.
