Physician - Peds Cardiac - Anesthesiologist

Position Overview Ochsner Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana is searching for a BC/BE Fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist with sub‑fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia or experience with Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. The successful candidate will join a team of three Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology faculty members and provide and coordinate patient care in a setting that handles the full range of congenital cardiac pathology and palliative repairs. Responsibilities Daily practice includes the spectrum of pediatric heart disease for cardiac and non‑cardiac procedures, primarily covering congenital cardiac cases. The position aims for 100% pediatric practice, with adult anesthesia cases available if desired. The physician will share a tiered call system, typically 1:1 with CRNAs, and benefit from ample vacation and CME time. Academic time may be integrated into the schedule.
