Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2537.68 Opportunity: Not specified Job Details: • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses • Every other weekend schedule required • No on-call responsibilities • At least 2 years of previous Med Surg experience required • Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred, as traveler may float to the Stepdown unit as needed • First time travelers accepted • Patient ratio is 1:5-6 on days and 1:6-7 on nights • Work alongside Patient Care Techs • Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day • EMR system: EPIC • Black or Navy Blue Scrubs required • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) • Iowa and Illinois state licenses required • Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility • Must provide a valid driver's license, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date, license verification, copies of required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference at time of submission Facility: This healthcare facility is an interdisciplinary medical organization that provides comprehensive patient care across multiple local campuses.
