As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, issuing temporary access materials, and maintaining accurate access-related records. Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Monitor access-control systems, cameras, and communications equipment; report irregularities, equipment concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
