Roofing Installer Shift: Day Shift, Full-Time Location: Job Dependent Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experienceCompany Overview: Ontario Exteriors Inc. is seeking motivated and dependable Roofing Installers to join our growing team. Experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn the trade. Established in 1995, Ontario Exteriors Inc. is a Rochester Top 100 Company recognized for its commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Installing, repairing, and replacing roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings while following manufacturer specifications and company quality standardsSafely removing existing roofing materials and preparing roof surfaces for new installationInstalling roofing materials including asphalt shingles, underlayment, ice and water shield, flashing, ridge vents, and related roofing componentsMeasuring roofs and materials accurately to minimize waste and ensure proper installationSafely operating hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other roofing equipmentWorking at heights while following all OSHA safety requirements and fall protection proceduresIdentifying and reporting damaged roof decking or structural issues to the project supervisorLoading, unloading, and transporting roofing materials and equipment to and from job sitesMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each projectAssisting crew leaders and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedulePerforming physically demanding work including climbing ladders, lifting materials, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in varying weather conditionsRequirements:At least 18 years of ageExperience in roofing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available for motivated candidatesComfortable working at heights and on steep roof surfacesOSHA 10 certification and fall protection training preferred (may be obtained after hire)Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 poundsBasic hand tools are preferredReliable transportation to and from job sitesStrong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learnAbility to work well as part of a team while maintaining attention to detailCommitment to following all company safety policies and proceduresAdditional Information:Year-round work with consistent project opportunitiesPay rate will be determined based on experience and skill levelOn-the-job training provided for candidates new to the roofing tradeOpportunities for career advancement and promotion through skill development and continued trainingOntario Exteriors Inc. is committed to fostering a positive work environment where employees are valued, supported, and provided opportunities to build long-term careers in the construction industry.
