Lathe Machinist

DHL International is seeking an experienced Lathe Machinist to join our machining and tooling division in Quakertown, PA. We specialize in high-precision machining and are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in producing quality work to exacting standards.

Position Overview

This is a full-time day-shift role averaging 45 hours per week , with additional overtime available. The successful candidate will set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes to produce precision components, primarily from hard metals, to very close tolerance specifications.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience operating Okuma lathes
• Strong proficiency with Fanuc controls
• Ability to edit CNC programs
• Experience machining hard metals
• Demonstrated ability to hold very close tolerance specifications
• Solid understanding of blueprint reading, precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.), and quality inspection practices
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team

Schedule

• Day shift
• Approximately 45 hours per week
• Overtime available
