Environmental Services Area Leader (Housekeeping) - Nights

Position Description

We help our patients and visitors live well by providing a clean and safe hospital. As an EVS Area Leader, you help with organizing and coordinating cleaning tasks across the hospital:

• Training staff

• Cleaning tasks/processes

• Equipment operation

• Delegating work duties

• Cleaning inspections

• Responding to and assigning work requests

• Adjusting staff schedules

• Dispatching staff to clean patient rooms

• and more!

Pay Details

Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour

• $2.00 Weekend shift differential

• $1.60 2nd shift differential

• $5.50 3rd shift differential

Holiday Pay Time and a Half

Shift Details:

1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm + rotating weekends

2nd Shift – 4:00 pm – 12:30 pm + rotating weekends

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

• 40 hours per week

• Flexible per diem shifts are also available

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• A minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping is preferred.

• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Basic computer skills required: email, eLearning, Ipad, Vocera, and pagers.

• Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling fluctuating workloads.

• Pay Range:$17 - $26.35;

• Work Status:Monday - Friday 10:30 pm - 7am, rotating holidays. ;
