Accounting Manager
Aegis Worldwide
Aegis is seeking a qualified Accounting Manager to join our client's organization in Chicago. This is a hybrid position (3 days a week OS and 2 remote. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 7+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience of public accounting - ie. Consulting or public firm experience
- Financial reporting experience using SAP or similar ERP platform
- Experience preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. - will be leading month/quarter/yearly end close. Monthly - 5 days, quarterly - 7-8 business days, yearly - takes multiple weeks.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience managing at least 1 direct report.
- Experience leading the annual external audit process
- 150M in rev company size experience
- Required - travel; once per quarter. (Regional Travel)
- CPA
- Additional education - masters degree.
- Background where the candidate has been broad and hands-on rather than highly specialized within a very large corporation
