Systems EngineerThe Systems Engineer is responsible for overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support.In this role, you will:Design, implement, install, maintain, and administer infrastructure such as hardware, software, and various configurationsWrite software for user interfaces, embedded controls, and test managementWork with vendors to specify componentsBe responsible for all functions such as electrical, mechanical, and software associated with R&D and manufacturing.Provide remote testing, technical support, and trainingRequired and Preferred Experience:1-3 years related engineering experienceAccountability, ownership of successSelf-starterWork Environment and Physical Requirements:Operates in the office and occasionally in the field of an oil and gas service company manufacturing environmentRegularly required to work indoors in a controlled environment or occasionally outdoors in harsh cold or hot environmentRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear, use hands to manipulate with fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, taste, or smellOccasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneed, crouch or crawlLift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. (SEF Energy employees shall not manually lift an item weighing more than 50 lbs., they shall utilize mechanical assistance devices.
