You will operate as a business leader first, marketer second, partnering closely with sales, business unit leadership, and collaborating extensively across global marketing teams to build a strong brand, influence key accounts, and accelerate growth across the world’s leading technology companies. What You'll Do Build and Scale a Global Marketing Organization Stand up and scale a global TBU marketing team with core hubs in the Bay Area and India Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing, distributed team Establish a modern, agile, and outcome-driven marketing operating model Own the Global Marketing Strategy Define and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy across brand, digital, PR, analyst relations, events, and ABM Build and manage an integrated marketing plan aligned to business growth priorities Shape TCS positioning across Software & SaaS, Semiconductor, Hardware, Networking, New tech and Deep Tech (AI, Quantum, Crypto) Elevate the Brand in the Bay Area Establish TCS as a credible, differentiated partner in the Silicon Valley ecosystem Drive thought leadership, media visibility, and analyst positioning Represent TCS at industry forums, executive events, and ecosystem platforms Drive Demand & Pipeline Build always-on demand generation programs across digital and field channels Deliver high-quality pipeline and measurable revenue impact Partner with sales on campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking Lead Strategic Account Marketing (ABM) Own ABM strategy for top global technology accounts Drive "market-of-one" programs for priority clients and large deals Support strategic pursuits with tailored messaging, content, and executive engagement Enable Sales & Large Deals Act as a core partner to sales leadership on key opportunities Support RFPs, executive presentations, and deal storytelling Identify cross-sell and growth opportunities within key accounts Build Ecosystem & Partnerships Develop relationships with analysts, media, partners, VCs, and academia Drive joint marketing with alliance partners. Anchor TCS presence in key industry events and communities Collaborate Across Marketing Functions Work closely with services marketing, geography marketing, brand, digital, ABM, analyst relations, and communications teams Ensure strong alignment between global strategy and local execution Drive integrated campaigns by bringing together multiple marketing teams into a unified go-to-market approach Lead in a Matrixed Environment Influence stakeholders across business, sales, and marketing leadership Navigate complexity and drive alignment across global and regional teams Build a collaborative, high-performance marketing culture Success Metrics Brand: Market perception, analyst positioning, share of voice. Demand: campaign performance, digital engagement, meetings, followups Revenue Impact: Marketing-influenced pipeline and deal wins ABM: Strategic account engagement and growth, Customer satisfaction score Reporting Structure Dual reporting line: Business Head - Technology Business Unit Global Head - Industry Marketing What We're Looking For 13-15+ years of B2B marketing experience in technology / IT services / consulting Proven track record of building teams and scaling marketing functions from scratch Strong ability to collaborate across multiple marketing teams and drive alignment in a matrix organization Strong understanding of global technology ecosystem and Silicon Valley landscape Experience working with large enterprise tech clients (ISVs, semiconductor, SaaS, etc.) Demonstrated success in ABM, demand generation, and integrated marketing Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment Strong executive presence, storytelling, and communication skills Experience leading global, distributed teams Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred TCS Employee Benefits Summary Discretionary Annual Incentive.
