Warehouse Agent - Ocean CargoAir General, a third-generation, family-owned, national cargo company, is looking for a full time Warehouse Agent - Ocean Cargo at our Dallas Ocean facility located in Dallas, Texas.Warehouse duties include: handling the transfer of cargo to and from our client and their customers, with a strict adherence to safety and security procedures. Job Responsibilities include:Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jackProcess customer paperwork and shipping informationLoad/unload cargo from/to vehicles/trucksPrepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as neededMake sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurateAssure proper handling and delivery of cargoClean up and sweep warehouse, dispose garbageMaintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipmentFollow Hazmat and Security Requirements and RegulationsAll other duties as assigned by supervisor/managementRequirements:Warehouse: 1 year.High school diploma or GED required.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have a valid and unexpired US Driver's license.Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.Candidates must possess some basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions.Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and government security background checks, and post offer drug screens.Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, high-noise environment, and meet deadlines.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pmBenefits Offered:Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Health and Flexible Savings Accounts, etc.Paid Time Off and Sick TimePaid Parental Leave401(k) Retirement Plan and Roth after 6 months, company match after 1 yearLife InsuranceTuition Scholarship ProgramCompany Emergency Loan ProgramEarned Wage Access - offered through TapcheckTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Air General is a third-generation, family-owned, US-based, nationwide Air Cargo and Ocean Cargo handling company, as well as a provider of Passenger and Traveler Services.
